Night of the Nerdy Laser was born out of Richard and Matt's love of horror movies back in June of 2021. Richard has been podcasting for over a decade and had over a hundred episodes of his Nerdy Laser podcast which Matt became a co-host of eventually.

 

Together they held multiple live events at The Bird and the Book and Central Cinema involving movies such as Die Hard, The Mask, My Bloody Valentine, Deep Red, and even Cannibal Holocaust! The Nerdy Laser podcast turned into the Night of the Nerdy Laser podcast which is a horror movie podcast where Richard and Matt talked about horror movies.

 

After doing over a dozen episodes, friend of the show Jeff, joined in on the fun. The three of them did over 50 podcasts together when Matt stepped away for a bit to focus on other things. Nothing dramatic happened, just sometimes life takes precedent over podcasting!

 

So now the Night of the Nerdy Laser continues on as Richard and Jeff talk about horror movies ranging from old to new to independent and interviews!
